I run into the same issue as <https://github.com/kotest/kotest-intellij-plugin/issues/92|this Issue> with the kotest plugin.
I just face this issue in one of my 2 projects.
Did someone else have this issue and found a workaround?

4.2.3 which will be published shortly has better error handling, so rather than that generic message, we will see the true error. Then we'll know what is causing it.

ah super, thanks. what exactly does ‘shortly’ mean? I know it can range from minutes up to weeks, at least in my company :sweat_smile:

I do indeed, I think this is a great project. we are currently using a lot of groovy with the spockframework and kotest is definitely a very good alternative for that with kotlin :slightly_smiling_face:
