Hi @yukuku, I'm not sure this will solve the issue, but it seems that the recommendation now is to use Android Studio 3.6 or newer.

This has to be modified, there is no "stable" Android Studio 3.6

@yukuku that will change shortly - Android Studio 3.6 is at RC3 already, which is (very) close to stable. So give it a week or so 😉

I hadn’t seen the issues till I was prepping a talk yesterday. I mostly use Intellij rather than Android Studio. Not sure what the rest of the team was seeing in 3.5.3, but it wasn’t loading properly for me, and I changed the recommendation to 3.6

Just to chime in here, I’ve seen similar issues when using “open existing android studio project” rather than “import gradle projet” to initially open the sample. We are looking in to cleaning up the idea folder so this doesn’t cause issues
