Why was C++ interop support removed from the roadmap? There's no linked YouTrack ticket, and though I wasn't anxiously awaiting the feature, I'm curious as to why it was abandoned.

I was surprised to see it mentioned because I hadn't realized it was even being considered.

this was asked last week (but no official answer): https://kotlinlang.slack.com/archives/C3SGXARS6/p1635923766126900

I figured that was why, but I did want to hear it from the team in case there was more to it.

Hi! It’s just the question of available resources. The Kotlin/Native team is fully dedicated to developing a new memory manager & working on ObjC/Swift interop, tu support KMM. C++ interop doesn’t fit the current priorities, and we don’t have enough people to work on it alongside other initiatives. However, we’ll regularly revisit this decision.
