I remember somebody asking about an Image loading library and the suggestion was to use <https://github.com/alialbaali/Kamel|kamel>

This library looks like is no longer maintained, are there any alternatives? I need to use an Image loading library that works on Android, Desktop and Web

I'm using kamel for Desktop and it works fine.
If you're worried about forward support, maybe add a wrapper around it so you can more easily migrate to something else in the future?
