I considered it and decided against.
• the context is very different, desktop will have its own specifics

• I’m not confident enough yet to distinguish between desktop-specific issues/questions and Android, which could create confusion

E.g. I didn’t realise imageFromResource question is desktop specific, until Jim asked me to create an issue in compose-desktop repo

I thought it was because the first result I saw when I popped it open in AS was in the desktop directory, but then only subsequently did I realize the same function exists in the android directory also, and they are analogous and that's when I updated the github issue to say I'd raise it in API Council.

I didn't see anything desktop-specific in your questions. ImageBitmap, Text, modal dialogs are all part of the core Compose layers.
