Is it possible / an example anywhere of using Compose-desktop for part of the interface for an IntelliJ Plugin?

Well I don't know if Jetbrains would like that? Since Compose is freely customizable I think we'd see a lot of non-uniform looking plugins that do not match the UI style of Jetbrains IDEs 😄

Hmm wasn't there something like that rendered compose to swing for native ui? Or was that just skia based composables made to look like Swing would on that os?

It is likely that at some point JB will provide a set of consistently-themed components (buttons, checkboxes, radio buttons, etc) for use in plugins that wish to use Compose.
