Anyone using Lottie for animations on Wear? Any issues?

The tiles dev team spent a lot of time thinking about Lottie @Jamie Garside [G] might have some input

I use Lottie animations in my Wear app and haven’t had any issues! I have a loading indicator and a success animation.

Ah, sadly while we have been thinking about Lottie, we haven't really battle-tested it and found all the issues yet 🙂

Would it definitely be lottie vs animated vector drawable? It seems like a good thing it's unbundled, but additional dependency.

IIUC You can downconvert the After Effects to AVD, and then they work without the lottie library. Just bog standard Android. But you lose some features. I'm basically hoping that overall the standardise on one approach to animated resources/buttons etc on Wear. Hopefully Lottie?
    AnimatedImageVector.animatedVectorResource vs
    LottieAnimation

Yeah, BodyMovin can export AVD (...I think), but you do lose some significant features
I think gradients don't work properly or something like that (it's been a while 😄 )

OK, I'm going to stick to lottie then.
