macOS Monterey has been released, anyone tested it out with a KMM multiplatform app? Any issues?

Yes, I use it since the first beta. No issues.
With the stable macOS 12 we can now use Android Studio ARM64 again after is was broken for the whole beta. 🙈

Oh, nice, thanks! 😄

I will not participate again in a macOS Beta. Way too many problems with unreliable WiFi and other broken stuff.

Yeah, it’s risky business!

Was my first time. Normally I'm not afraid because Betas are mostly well tested and for testing out new features. That half the system is broken and WiFi not working at all on some betas was a new experience to me. But at least now I know how Apple defines "beta" 😄
KMM in comparison in super stable even in alpha - just not feature complete and changing APIs all the time, but you can use it.

KMM has been great so far, yeah – used for the last year. Compose has had some breaking changes from time to time, though. KMM is only getting better and better. With the new memory manager, it’ll be really great!

I can't tell if it's XCode 13.1 or Monterey that is sabotaging launching the iOS simulator from Android Studio (Bumblebee). For a new KMM project, it runs fine for the Android target, the iOS target seems to build but doesnt launch from Android Studio (but does from XCode 13.1)

You could consider downloading Xcode 13.0 (or the latest that worked for you) from xcodereleases.com and compare 🙂

Hmm it actually looks like Android Studio Bumblebee (latest beta) is the culprit, if i use the latest stable android studio arctic fox and latest stable kmm (0.2.7) it does work fine with macOS Monterey/xcode 13.1 (and it will launch the simulator from android studio just fine)

Ok, I’m happy to hear that, I don’t need to use Bumblebee 🙂
