I tried installing KMM. So that is, installed android studio, installed kotlin plugin 1.4.0(+). Have (open)jdk installed. Installed the plugin for KMM in android studio (and active). Even rebooted. But there 's no option for KMM under "new project"....

Did the installation of the KMM Plugin succeed? Check your Plugins for the KMM one and see if it has been disabled for some reason…

I found it. Although it showed [installed] (grayed out) under the marketplace tab, I had to save the settings again. And open the settings dialog again. Now it showed grayed out under "installed"-tab with gray text enable which indicates it was disabled after all. Not sure if it was some sort of cache

I had that installed, it does seem it was enabled but not saved or something. It was daggling in between. Also rebooted etc. But it works now 👌
