Only checked exceptions are supported now.

Yes. I’m glad if it is supported in the future. But, I’m not sure it is possible

Current behaviour is intentional.

RuntimeException

is equivalent to Swift fatal errors (e.g. thrown in cases like index out of bound, null pointer errors etc.).
