10/19/2018, 8:43 PMI had the same issue some days ago, I think I resolved it updating Android Studio and the gradle plugin

10/22/2018, 7:25 AMCurrently, new multiplatfrom is supported at IDEA 2018.2+ and at Android Studio 3.2. IDEA 2018.1 may show such kind of error, that’s why I asked đŸ™‚
