If CMake isn't the long-term build solution, does that mean CLion won't be the long-term IDE?

Those two problems aren’t directly related, as adding Gradle to CLion also may work.

IntelliJ IDEA is the run it all IDE that already supports Kotlin/JVM and Kotlin/JS. I guess it will support Kotlin/Native when multiplatform for Kotlin/Native arrives
