Ah, but they have “payment failed” messages and an instruction to re-try and complete payment by Wednesday. So I guess I can re-try one of them and ignore the other.

Yep, I got one of those. Used the retry link to check in different browsers as well, same issue

I sort of suspect it’s a declined payment with bad handling on pretix’s end, but that’s just a hunch. Maybe call your card issuer and ask if they declined a payment today?
