After updating to Kotlin 
1.7.0
and compose: 
1.2.0-alpha01-dev731
all my imports are broken and the app fails to build with:

Any ideas as to what may be wrong? I've check some of issues on Github and they seem to having a slightly different stack trace from this one.

That build doesn't support Kotlin 1.7.0

So there's no alpha build that supports 1.7.0?

For Kotlin 1.7.0, you need to plug the most recent version of the Compose Compiler:

Thanks @Luc Girardin It's frustrating that Compose-jb keeps falling behind with every release and we have to use these work arounds to build our projects

It's not. Alphas of 1.2.0 are on the same language dependencies as the upstream 1.2.0 builds
