How does the scoring work again? does it penalise you for submitting an answer late? 🤔
r
IMO - Star + time + no. of participants
j
Ignore the scoring, just count the stars. It does not matter how fast you are or how soon do you have free time to spend it on the puzzles. What matters is how many puzzles you finish and how much you’ll learn 🙂 Scoring penalises people that have life, I hope Eric Wastl will remove it finally now that people are using GPT to submit answers in 10 seconds…

Absolutely my opinion. I try to be fast in the morning, because I love this. But I have a full-time job and also 2 small kids at home, so no chance to solve it in the early morning every day. Fun and learning is the most important thing for me
r
Fun part - You get your hands on, on stuff like recursion, dp, matrix, graph search etc.. which you usually don't encounter in your day to day job. This is the time of the year, i get to brush up few skills.
Considering the fact that - android devs spent most of their time in catching up or adopting google library every -year 😄

Agree with you above. For the sake of completeness and to answer the question:
m
How are people using GPT for the answers? Or was that a joke.

Amazing, thank you

When I saw 10s I knew it had to be automated.

Well, day1 first place, part1 under half a minute and part2 under 1 minute was streamed, all by hand. Not the next days though.
