I see this ambiguous function call warning with 1.8.0-RC-268. Should I report it?

Which Gradle version are you using? From quick test I could not reproduce it :thinking_face:

Please open an issue - I see it is Groovy script related

As a workaround you could disable `Incompatible Type assignments` inspection which is by default enabled for Groovy scripts since IDEA 2022.3
