There are examples like https://github.com/android/wear-os-samples/blob/dbfdf7e64aadf202c25b0c96de7ea8cbaf[…]e/android/wearable/wear/wearverifyremoteapp/MainWearActivity.kt but they don't specifically launch the paired app. But idea is the same.

Thanks! But here i am trying to open the activity of an already installed app. Do i need to create a deep link or is there any way of directly launching the paired app?

I believe it's required to use a deeplink.

You need to launch some intent. I'm not aware of a way to do the equivalent of getting the launch intent for package for a remote app.

The app has a service that is bound by a different, visible app. Note that the app that is bound to the service must remain visible for the app in the background to start activities successfully.
