# multiplatform

What does this even mean though? KMM is like a UX umbrella and not a specific technical thing.
I'm all for existing things getting better, of course, but KMM is such a weird brand I literally have no idea what it is.
m
I literally thought it was about multiplatform in general (so KMP I guess, not KMM?)
I hope it means I can remove
Copy code
kotlin.mpp.stability.nowarn=true
from my gradle.properties 😄

@jw they say KMM but everything in that issue references KMP In my head I usually just treat KMM as marketing speak for KMP
m
I think KMM = KMP without JS and Windows
So the message is like "go use Kotlin for your Android + iOS apps" but don't go all in on JS and Desktop just yet
Because of "reasons" (maybe some things will change in how the JS scripts are bundled, maybe some important features are missing for Desktop apps, maybe something else, I don't know...)
