There’s a recent-ish comment on this StackOverflow post claiming that is doesn’t work for instances created via ::class.java.newInstance(). Seemed weird to me so I checked, and I can’t reproduce it. But the comment has several upvotes. Anybody know if there is (or was once) a real issue here, or is the comment just mistaken? I can’t find anything on YouTrack either.
