as Kotlin Actors are marked @ObsoleteCoroutinesApi with the comment
Note: This API will become obsolete in future updates with introduction of complex actors. See issue #87 .

And there is no indication Kotlin is going to get Complex Actors any time soon

is there any open source alternative to replace Actors with now?

This is for few years like that... I hope they at least remove that annotation until something new is created
