Dynamic button color change to match page background in android &amp; Kotlin
I am new to android development and am trying to set up an interface where I select different tabs using buttons placed vertically. I want the buttons to change colour to match the selected tab page background and the other tabs to revert to a darker colour. The logic seems to work but the buttons are reset to a colour I have not chosen, a dark blue.
