Apologies if this has already been posted, or this is not the right place, but I can't seem to find any information about this online, so I thought I'd ask here.

It looks like context receivers were removed from the roadmap. Why? Is this being dropped entirely, or is the focus just on other things right now?

The Kotlin team wants to focus on finishing the new K2 compiler first, so that's why features such as context receivers had to be postponed. Btw I'm also waiting for them :slightly_smiling_face:

They are not dropped. We are just focusing on delivering K2 (Kotlin 2.0) right now and we’ll continue work on context receivers for Kotlin 2.x
