[HIRING] Backend Java Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Java Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in developing and maintaining scalable and efficient applications using Springboot version 5, Redis, and AWS EC2 RDS. The ideal candidate will also have experience with observability and logging tools like Datadog, ELK Stack, Splunk, or Grafana.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient applications using Java 11+ and Springboot 5+.
• Design and implement database schemas using MySQL and Spring Data, and ensure data integrity and security.
• Implement security features using Spring Security to protect sensitive data and ensure that applications comply with regulatory requirements.
• Work with AWS technologies, including EC2, RDS, and S3, to build and deploy cloud-based applications and services that are highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant.
• Use Redis for caching and data persistence to improve application performance and reduce the load on the database.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using JUnit and other testing frameworks to ensure that the software meets quality standards and is free of bugs and errors.
• Ensure observability and effective logging of the applications by using tools like Datadog, ELK Stack, Splunk, or Grafana.
Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Springboot version 5, Redis, and AWS EC2 RDS and GIT.
• Good understanding of Spring security, spring data and MVP style of development
• Familiarity with observability and logging tools like Datadog, ELK Stack, Splunk, or Grafana.
• Comfortable working in an Agile software development environment and be familiar with common tools and practices such as Git, JIRA, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as you will need to communicate with other team members, stakeholders, and end-users.
