Hello everyone, is this GSOC the right fit for me? I am a junior student and aspiring Android Developer who has been learning Kotlin for the past five months. I would love to work on “Enhance the
kotlinx-benchmark
library API and user experience” @Abduqodiri Qurbonzoda [JB].

Hi @Hassaan, I’m glad for your interest in the project. As the goal of the project is to improve the library usability, I would suggest using the library to benchmark a Kotlin multi-platform code. And try to find out: • How straightforward is it to set up a project for benchmarking? • Is the information provided in the library repository helpful? • How complete the provided information is? • How could the documentation be improved? • What additional benchmark configuration options would be nice to have? Answering these questions should make a great project proposal.
Please feel free to ask if you need any help. A draft proposal is welcomed too.

Thanks a lot

Hi @Abduqodiri Qurbonzoda [JB], where should I send my draft proposal for this project?
a
Hi @Jack Nguyen, Please submit your draft proposal through the GSoC website. Mentors will review it ASAP and give their feedback, ask you questions or request more detail on aspects of your proposal. However, please note that you won’t be able to edit your proposal after the application deadline. I will give feedback to all kotlinx-benchmark proposals in couple of days.
