Hello everyone,

I’m currently a Senior Android Engineer on the Starship team at La Presse.

We are looking for an ⭐ Android Developer ⭐ with a profil confirmed-senior to join our Android team.
📰 La Presse is the largest independent French-speaking newsroom in North America. 🇨🇦
The company has completely transformed in recent years to become a 100% digital media platform.
Mobile applications have been a turning point in this digital transformation and continue to grow, reaching an average of nearly 600k readers per day.

In the Starship team, we are 12 developers (6 Android / 6 iOS), with 2 QAs, 1 Product Owner, and 1 ScrumMaster.
We work collaboratively with different departments (Design, Backend, Marketing, Data, etc..) to provide the best possible experience for our readers.

Regarding the technology and ecosystem, we use:
• Kotlin (90%), MVVM, Jetpack Compose
• Clean Architecture, Multi-Module architecture
• Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, Dagger2, RetroFit,
• Firebase Remote Configuration, Unit tests, Screenshot testing
• Crash Free: 99.8% / 4.6 ⭐ on GooglePlay / 5M currently installed apps
🏡 Based in Montreal (Place des Armes)
💻 Full remote work is possible (From Quebec), and the team meets in the office on Wednesdays (not mandatory).
