05/25/2023, 4:52 PMIt's basically a way to start a voice/video call that is pinned to a specific channel. Generally useful for small team channels and group chats. I wouldn't expect it to see much use on a community Slack like this, especially in big channels.

05/25/2023, 5:09 PMNo, a huddle is visible to everyone in the channel where you created it. If you want to contact a person or small group directly, you can do that via a direct message. (It's generally better to use a shared channel, though. Addressing a message directly to an individual can be an imposition on that person, and also prevents other people from benefiting from the conversation)
