Is it acceptable to cross post a London based job advert from #hiring into #uk & #london just in case someone in those channels isn't in hiring? Neither channel get much traffic.

personally I think cross posting region-specific content to regions-specific channels should be okay, so long as it doesn’t overwhelm low-traffic channels

I'd say most developers see and receive a LOT of job ads and mostly consider it spam. Crossposting might be okay in some cases, this is not one imho.
