Early birds 300E, that's not too bad for such a big conf. Great atmosphere, and would love to finally meet you Sam 😁 I really was looking forward to the cancelled one in Toronto but long distance flying has gotten so expensive.
s
I've just posted it in our kotlin room @ grindr slack. I'm gonna see if we can get a group of us to come.
We must be one of the largest scale ktor shops?
s
For sure amongst them ye
s
Billions of requests per day
s
My last project was close to billion I think but not multiple, they're growing quickly though but not sure who else is using Ktor. There must be more companies, right? Or is everyone still really doing Spring 😒
s
I'd imagine spring is dominant
s
Grindr should advertise this more, this might help get Ktor more traction
s
Could talk about it in May πŸ™‚

I'll think about it then πŸ™‚

Do it! I bet lots of people would love to hear about it πŸ™‚ I would for sure

Hey πŸ‘‹, occasional Kotest contributor here (BlockHound, concurrency and K/Js compiler plugin fixes)! Thinking about proposing a talk on concurrency testing with coroutines, which would explore worlds beyond
runTest
and cover true multithreaded testing with Kotest (also Ktor). Any idea what the level of interest in these things might be?
s
I think that would be a super interesting topic.

The call for papers is not open yet is it? That does sound interesting indeed!

I'd love to do it, and I also hope that Sam can make it, but yes, AFAIK there is no CFP yet.
