10/13/2021, 1:15 PMThe biggest changes in 5.0 are the MPP support which rely heavily on compiler plugins. Given that Kotlin tends to break things between releases, I'm not confident that supporting compiler plugins for JS and native for multiple kotlin versions will be a good use of time. My time mostly, which is in short supply 🙂 In other words, I think we'll just end up with a bunch of annoying bugs between versions.
