A lot of times I'll have two copies of the same project. Like... on my disk I'll have now-in-android-1 and now-in-android-2. Sometimes I want to have both of them open in separate windows but it can be confusing which one is which. lol. Super specific use case. but does anyone have any tips they use to be able to quickly see which project is which?

Have you tried the new UI in Android Studio? You can specify different colors for the projects, makes it super easy to see what is what right away

Something like this, but imagine multiple projects.. with different colors 🌈

so the projects all have the same name. since its the same project. just a different directory that the project lives in.

I think you can still do this, you just have to set it up once after copying/duplicating the proj and you should be good to go!
