The docs you mentioned were only released a few days ago. I wonder whether the "lint rule was removed" applies to a very recent version of Android Studio. What version of AS are you using?

Yes it was a old lint rule, just pointing here

Maybe I was wrong. Maybe lint rules ship with the compose library rather than Android Studio. What version of Compose are you using?
