You can — I recommend following Package Search's strategy which is almost the same as Jewel's. Keep the latest supported version on the main branch, and older supported versions on separate branches you merge changes into. The release branches should only need a different version of the bridge as you've seen, the rest should work. This is necessary because the internals of the IJP keep changing all the time and we can't support them all in the same library without going insane with reflection
