Could it be that IntelliJ markdown editor does NOT reformat code automatically for whatever reason. For example, I type, get a suggestion, accept the suggestion and bumm, the code is reformatted. I use 4 spaces which is ignored by the editor. No problem, I format my code manually. But why, for the love of god do you reformat it automatically? Please stop forcing me into the 2 spaces world.
