🌟 Hello everyone! 😄 I’ve created a new Kotlin Multiplatform library called PlatformTools. PlatformTools simplifies platform-specific tasks like operating system detection, application management, and release fetching. It's designed to help developers manage cross-platform challenges with ease. To demonstrate its capabilities, I also built a simple example showing how to use PlatformTools for updating Compose Desktop apps seamlessly. Check it out here: App with Auto Updater. Additionally, I showcased how to implement continuous development using GitHub Actions, making it easier to automate builds and streamline workflows. 🚀 Try it out and share your thoughts! 😊

So this is an alternative to Hydraulic Conveyor? 🙂

The library itself is not an alternative to conveyor, but it can be used to update your application easily, it does not reinvent the wheel, just demonstrates how to best use the tools that currently exist
s
Can it update the same way as Conveyor does on macOS or is it just calling the PKG file and requiring user interaction? Conveyor uses the Sparkle framework

Ah, ok, got you.
