Curious if there is an engineering managers channel on this Slack, or if there are enough managers here interested in starting one? Thinking about talking best practices to successfully manage mobile teams, conceptual idea exchange, validating design choices, etc.

My instinct is that the channel topic should correspond to what's being talked about, rather than who's doing the talking. The topic also needs to be Kotlin-specific, otherwise it belongs on a different forum.

Managing teams that use Kotlin I guess? It doesn't need to be exclusive to people managers, could also be team leads. I started into mobile as a manager of other things, not mobile. When I got started I struggled most with getting the "manager's version" of Kotlin and the ecosystem around it. Most tutorials or programs were aiming at the engineer or to build an app. You have a point though it might be slightly too far off for this Slack, there are likely some other mobile Slacks that have team management channels.
