Unfortunately these are just two misses in our API for now. Some potential workarounds until I get fixes in: 1. The cursor, as you mentioned. Or, depending on the amount of data involved,
getAll(key).take(limit)
might still be more efficient than a cursor 2. It’s real ugly, but until a fix is in I think the closest you can get is abusing a
Logger
. Once you get a log with
Type.Database
and a message starting with
Close
/`Closed`/`Closing` , that instance is dead.

😄 damn, the second one was the worst worst case hack I thought of in case no other way Willing to contribute a nicer way (like a callback interface in openDatabase) if it can be released soon enough, seems little work
