On reddit I read that Firebender actually came first. I guess I ignored most of it, because it was so focused on Android Studio users & Android. The three prompts worked fine on my Kotlin/WASM app in IDEA, too.

yep we focused on android , but most of android is in kotlin anyways, so for alot of the teams we support they've expanded to their kotlin backend teams as well

Its come a long way since I first heard about it in March. Today its the best agentic coding experience possible in Android Studio + IntelliJ

Interesting. Yeah, maybe you should have focused more on KMP to have that first mover advantage.
k
its possible, but i don't think we would've gotten this far without focusing on android
it taught us a lot abt making a good kotlin coding agent w/o competing with junie head on
bc we see adoption in all of jetbrains IDEs, this is something thats more interesting to us

I can see that. Maybe now is the time to say on the front page that you also support KMP in IDEA.
