Ktlint 1.8.0 release has been completed. All details about this release can be found <https://github.com/pinterest/ktlint/releases/tag/1.8.0|here>.  I want to thank all contributors for contributing code changes, and ideas, as well as reporting bugs.

This release was a bit more troublesome then others. As a result the initial <https://github.com/pinterest/ktlint/releases/tag/1.8.0|github release> was missing the signature file, which has been added later (hence the difference in timestamps of the release artifacts). Also signing of the Maven artifacts failed, which was only resolved yesterday evening. The release has been just completed. <https://pinterest.github.io/ktlint/latest/|Documentation> has also been updated.

The Ktlint IntelliJ IDEA plugin will be updated in the coming days.
