Hi everyone! 👋 Quick intro: I'm a final-year computer applications student and an aspiring Android developer. I spend most of my time building with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Happy to be part of the community! I have a quick question regarding interview prep: I am currently dedicating more time to mastering Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). Since my primary focus is modern Android development, my instinct is to stick with Kotlin. However, I know Java has a massive, established pool of DSA resources and is the traditional standard for many interviewers. For those of you who have navigated Android engineering interviews recently, would you recommend writing DSA strictly in Kotlin to reinforce my day-to-day Android skills, or is it safer/better to use Java purely for the broader resource availability and interview familiarity? I’d appreciate any insights or experiences you can share! Thanks!
not kotlin but kotlin colored 5

FYI: I am solving problems on leetcode by using Kotlin only, anyway these days its easy even if you find the solution in in cpp or Java, as LLMs can help you to convert them to kotlin, if it was 3 years ago I would have suggested to either choose cpp or java.
Again its your choice totally.

Pardon for the late reply ! And Yeah I get your point. As I am moving into the Android Development. It is good to go with Kotlin for DSA. Recently I am even getting familiar with the Kotlin so Kotlin is the best choice I can go........ and Thanks for the suggestion!

@Nitish btw I have maintained a repo where I am solving leet code problems, you can check here ->github.com/mohnish777/DSA_AND_DesignPrinciples and follow the same sequence that will help to build the intuition and pattern.
