Thanks everyone for your ideas! The mascot hasn’t been forgotten, but paused. Sorry for not having communicated this earlier. We decided to pause its adoption, as unfortunately we got some negative feedback from the community and the mascot was not fully accepted even inside JetBrains. We’ll take a closer look at this feedback and tweak the mascot. So please stay tuned, we’ll be back with an update soon 🙂

@xxfast, many didn’t like the 3D shape, said it lacked ‘kawainess’ and wasn’t memorable, didn’t like the proportions, etc. So we’ll try to address this and come up with versions for focus groups within the community before we announce the final version and its name.
