~Quite senior~ not accurate, there is quite a bit of Junior people as well

My 'entourage' is specifically Israeli though which means 2-3 years delay

it is not dead, it is just declining, new gen of developpers won't think about Java to build their stuff

yeah but following new tech trends, java just doesn't fit

yeah, but it is interesting to see the difference with what's being taught at schools, and data we see in the wild

I think Stanford recently switched to JS from Java
