My IntelliJ background tasks are stuck in a separate window, how do I make them go back to the status bar? Clicking on the ➖ only hides it until another background task runs.

By submitting a bug on youtrack.jetbrains.com? I'll vote for it. Also, I encountered it once recently.

I restarted the IDE IIRC, more a workaround.
