Anyone knows how IntelliJ picks up my JAVA_HOME? Looks like it's able to pick up what I put in .zshrc even though it's not (always) started from the command line? Am I just lucky or do "graphical" apps also inherit the shell env variables somehow on MacOS?

IntelliJ actually has a bit of magic that runs a shell and pulls out its environment variables on startup
