hey all, this might be a tad off-topic as it's not strictly concerning spring + Kotlin, but does anybody know if there is a way to instantiate a @SpringBootTest once and then have multiple test classes that connect to it?

I disagree. Clearly, people here are looking to develop Spring apps with Kotlin. Denying help that happens to only concern Spring seems hostile to me, especially since @vbsteven humbly stated that he knows he might be off topic. Saying "yes I know the solution for your problem, but I'm not gonna tell you" when somebody just asks nicely for help - is that really the spirit of this channel?

I mean, I understand that this isn't supposed to be a generic Spring support forum in general.

Stating that something will be off-topic does not excuse posting it. Guidelines are clear, if you disagree with them, feel free to rise this in #meta
There's nothing hostile about my suggestion. Question is generic and completely irrelevant to this slack.

(right, "hostile" maybe wasn't the best choice of words from my side. I simply meant "not very welcoming" but I of course realize the problems with being too broad and I've read the guidelines again).
