Amex may not be your cup of tea (and the pay is good as it is for most large companies, nfrankel's griping notwithstanding -- Fortune 100 pay is probably better than you think it is), but yogurtearl is good people

my gripe is with the lack of compliance with the channel rules salary range has to be explicit

Sure, though that's a little more productive of a complaint than what you actually said. However, salary range at a company like that is uselessly wide 🤷‍♂️

at one point, i have enough of repeating the same statement over and over my patience has limits i’m guessing like everyone
salary range at a company like that is uselessly wide

I worked for that big company, so I'm going to hazard a guess that I may have more insight than you.
(fwiw, I also wrote the first Kotlin there.)

great then it’s not an issue to provide the salary range or to stop posting “offers” that mention “great opportunity”, “awesome package” and all the bullcrap we already have on linkedin this is not a debate those are the rules
just to be sure:
CHANNEL POLICY - Job ads need to have a specific description of what is expected, location, remote/on-site, and salary range - postings without the above information will be deleted

I don't get why this post was not deleted?
should we add to the rules: * do not apply to Fortune 100 ?

AFAIK this is not really a kotlin job. More like a bunch of legacy java and kotlin for new code if possible or makes sense. So the title of the spec might be (and probably is) a stretch.

Salary range is in the channel policy, not just a “popular demand”.
