dear posters of this channel could you please once and for all read the rules written in the channel description? this is not linkedin this is not one more channel to post your blurry fuzzy job description this is a place where developers interested in the kotlin meet hence, there’s a quality requirement that includes (but is not limited to): - specific job description - location - remote/on-site - salary range thanks for your understanding

I think it could be worded a bit nicer, just specifying the requierements, without the this is not linkedin and without “once and for all”. in its current state it sounds a bit passive aggressive

you can understand the frustration though, because it seems like most of the postings don’t include this..

@christophsturm sorry about that it was not meant to hurt anyone’s feelings but if i’ve to remind that multiple times my feelings are hurt
and if you’ve an idea to enforce this policy please step in

I’m always in doubt if I should delete the wrong post, or leave it here in a hope that author can fix it…
n
that’s a good question actually perhaps pinging the author could improve the situation “fix it or delete it”
however, in the current situation there’s one fact: there’s no incentive to follow the rules as it is
o
Our only hope is you: The Community metal Do not tolerate it, and they will go somewhere else.

suggestion: remove the "the" in front of kotlin
this is a place where developers interested in kotlin meet

What about when salary range is not known? Those job ads shouldn’t be posted at all?
c
how are you going to hire someone if you don’t know the salary range?
w
When I’m not the one hiring per se but there is a vacancy in my team.
