@bashor and @Dmitry Romanov [JB], did you guys literally add web support to compose within 48 hours (and had time to write 6 demos)? This is the real story here IMO. You're making me feel like a 0.1x programmer.

There were five people on that hackathon team, not just two, but yes, still damn impressive.

Right, namely the team consisted of @olonho (is leading Compose for Desktop and Web initiatives inside JetBrains now), @Svyatoslav Kuzmich [JB], @snrostov, @Ilya Goncharov [JB], and me.

We had a head start -- some of us already had experience with compose internals and some had experience with compiler internals.

It was not a single hackathon actually ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. The first attempt was in September 2019. There was no luck with the compiler plugin, but runtime was ported and actually runnable :) https://github.com/snrostov/kotlin-js-compose-standalone/blob/master/example/src/main/kotlin/main.kt (./gradlew run should work).
