04/17/2025, 12:11 PMHi @koufa, we currently position Fleet as a code editor from JetBrains and continue working on that. Fleet’s AI Assistant has a different feature set and implementation from the one in IntelliJ-based IDEs. Junie is built for IJ right now.

04/17/2025, 6:04 PMIt's a long way from marketing it as the next-gen IDE to introducing KMP and having a section where there is a need to verify commitment to the IJ Platform https://blog.jetbrains.com/kotlin/2023/11/kotlin-multiplatform-tooling-in-fleet/#our-commitment-to-intellij-idea-and-the-intellij-platform to now where Fleet seems like and actually is, at least in my perception, a secondary citizen. That's sad as a lot of folks were interested in a real VS Code competitor from Jetbrains
