Hi, any idea why https://kotlinlang.org/api/core/kotlin-stdlib/kotlin.io.path/,
AutoCloseable
extension functions are not available on jvm/app or jvm/lib modules? Compilation fails.

I think this used to be in stdlib-jdk7 and jdk8 modules.
Same for
src@jvm
sourceset in a shared multiplatform module.

hi there, what do you mean by aren't available? where? in the IDE? which version? which Amper version? if they aren't available, it's a bug this is a part of
kotlin-stdlib
now and using
stdlib-jdk7
and
jdk8
modules aren't necessary, in the current versions which are aligned with Kotlin versions, they're empty
Compilation fails.
and what about IDE? are they resolved?

Sorry for the confusion. It compiles fine. The error is in the IDE. The issue happens in the IDE (
IntelliJ IDEA 2025.3 EAP
) when you add multiple platforms.
product:
  type: lib
  platforms: [ jvm, linuxArm64, linuxX64, macosX64, macosArm64, mingwX64 ]
Here’s one of the src@jvm files. When you only have the jvm platform, things work fine. But with multiple platforms, the IDE throws an error.

Using the latest dev version
Copy code
$ ./amper --version
JetBrains Amper version 0.9.0-dev-3445 (e76cd3e, 2025-11-17)
